- Jan Lapter It’s unbelievable what a wife can do to shut off her famous man from wider world and nothing can be done, so far, about it. I can’t say I’m in similar situation, my dad wasn’t world famous, just well know in communist circles in Poland and member of Pugwash, but a situation is similar – my sister taking care of all inheritance, both his and our mother’s and nothing, until now coud be done about it; until now because I took her to court and though nothing is certain until the hammer strikes, I hope someting will be done. Just as in the case of poor Mr. Ran.
